The 2016 Conference fell right at the end of Lent, so New Orleans was gearing up for their Easter parade and the city was hoppin’. The conference was also pretty hoppin’, with heated arguments over the historical coolness of Alexander Hamilton, discussions of the various interpretations of the lyrics of Bob Dylan, commentary on current trends in the Medical and Digital Humanities, and African Gods as Catholic Saints… Among many, many other things. And our keynote speaker referenced an obscure T.S. Eliot text that your newsletter editor ordered on Amazon during the address – it was a great time, and we hope you’ll join us in San Francisco.
